Pakistan on Friday allowed ferry flights of foreign airlines to land at its airports.
In this regard, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the international ferry flights. According to the SOPs, planes will be disinfected before flying from Pakistan. All domestic and international airlines will be bound to submit a coronavirus disinfection certificate signed by the CAA staff.
Airlines flying planes to foreign countries will be responsible for safety measures for their planes at the destination. There will be a complete ban on any type of VIP protocol for passengers at the Pakistani airports. Nobody except passengers arriving at the airports will be allowed to enter the Concourse Hall. Passengers at the airports will have to maintain social distance at all times. All passengers will undergo thermal scanning before travelling abroad. Heal care officials will decide if a passengers showing Covid-19 symptoms should be offloaded from the flight.
