Custom officials seize 18 tons of smuggled Iranian crockery in Karachi

Customs Enforcement Karachi has seized 18 tons of Iranian-made smuggled crockery during a raid on a warehouse, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.


On a tip-off, the Enforcement Anti-Smuggling Organization conducted a successful raid on a warehouse Norris Chowrangi in SITE area last night.


According to Customs Enforcement, the total value of seized crockery is Rs30 million.


The crockery has been loaded into 10 Mazda trucks and moved to the enforcement warehouse and a detailed investigation is being carried out after registering a case under Customs Act, Customs Enforcement said.
