Pak Navy foils narcotics smuggling attempt in Arabian Sea

Pakistan Navy conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) near the northern Arabian Sea and successfully thwarted a major drug smuggling attempt, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a press release issued by ISPR on Tuesday, during a Regional Maritime Security Patrol, the naval ship PNS Aslat intercepted a boat and seized a substantial quantity of narcotics which was being transported to a foreign destination through sea.
The seized drugs hold a significant value in the international market, estimated to be worth thousands of dollars.
The Pakistan Navy spokesperson emphasized the importance of these patrols, stating, "Our naval warships, including PNS Aslat, are regularly deployed on Regional Maritime Security Patrols. These missions are crucial for preventing drug smuggling, maritime piracy, and human trafficking."
