The third T-20I match between England and Pakistan has been called off due to rain, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The match was due to play in Cardiff but the third match of 4-match series has been abandoned without a ball bowled.

Both teams will now head to London where the fourth and final match of the series is scheduled at The Oval on Thursday.

England lead the series 1-0 after triumphing in the second T20I on Saturday by 23 runs.

The first match in Leeds was also washed out on May 22 without a ball being bowled.

This is the last series for both sides before the T20 World Cup 2024, which will begin in the United States and West Indies from June 1.

England are the defending T20 World Cup champions after beating Pakistan in the final in 2022 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.
