Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy exemplary relations: Senate Chairman

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Nawaf Bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki, Tuesday called on Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani in Islamabad and discussed Pak-Saudi relations besides matters of mutual interests.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, both discussed the existing bilateral and cordial relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. They also expressed the desire of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to further strengthen the long-standing brotherly relations based on common religion, values, ​​and culture. 

Chairman Senate congratulated the Saudi ambassador on Saudi Arabia's victory over Argentina in the recent FIFA World Cup. 

While exchanging views, Sanjrani said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia coordinate on various regional and global issues. “There is a need to further promote strategic and broad-based partnership between the two countries in various fields,” Sadiq Sanjrani added. 

The chairman also emphasised on encouraging businessmen and chambers of commerce of both countries to continue contact to further promote mutual trade relations.

“More than two million Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia are playing an important role in the development of both countries,” he hinted. 

Sadiq Sanjrani apprised the Saudi envoy that the people of Pakistan are praying for the good health and long life of the servants of the Haram. 

He said that long-standing and deep fraternal relations need to be further strengthened for mutual benefit. 

There is potential to further strengthen economic and cultural ties between brotherly countries, Sadiq Sanjrani said. 

Chairman Senate suggested that the high-level bilateral exchanges will bring the two brotherly countries closer.
