Unidentified armed suspects opened fire on a police patrol vehicle at Chakian Road in the limits of Kirpa police station in Islamabad on Friday but luckily no one got hurt, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to sources, the accused chased Nilore police vehicle and when the vehicle reached Chakian Road, the suspects opened fire on the policemen with Kalashnikovs.
However, the police personnel in the vehicle miraculously escaped the firing of the accused.
Later, the area police reached the spot and collected from the crime scene.
