Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has held backdoor meetings in Dubai, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday, quoting sources.
Mohsin Naqvi who was in Dubai since yesterday for attending a special meeting of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board which take up the schedule of the Champions Trophy due to be held in Pakistan early next year.
According to the sources, the PCB chief was involved in attending key meetings since Friday morning before the start of ICC board meeting.
Earlier, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi departed for Dubai to attend ICC Board of Directors (BoD) meeting about holding of ICC Champions Trophy matches in Pakistan.
According to details, 15 members of the ICC Board including Pakistan and India will attend the BoD meeting.
During the meeting, the participants of the meeting will review various issues including visit of Indian cricket team to Pakistan for ICC Champions Trophy matches
In case of Indian team's refusal, it will be discussed on which neutral venue Pakistan-India cricket matches will be held.
It is necessary to mention here that Pakistan sought an acceptable formula from ICC for holding of ICC Champions Trophy matches in Pakistan.
