Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi Saturday expressed his dismay over the heaps of waste at the Ghazi Road Stop, Ferozepur Road, Lahore, and issued a order for immediate action against those responsible for littering and debris disposal in a reckless manner, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, the CM made an unscheduled visit to the Ghazi Road Stop on Ferozepur Road, where he was met with a distressing sight of accumulated garbage.
Witnessing the unsightly heaps, Mohsin Naqvi halted his car, disembarked, and took stock of the situation. Expressing his dismay, he immediately ordered corrective measures to address the issue of littering in the area.
Mohsin Naqvi summoned officials from the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) to address the issue.
During the meeting with LWMC officials, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for improved sanitation arrangements within the city.
Naqvi called for a proactive approach and instructed that indiscriminate action be taken against individuals who discard debris and garbage on the streets.
