Renowned Journalist and Former Chairperson of Karachi University's Mass Communication Department Shahida Qazi Saturday passed away at age 79, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
According to the details, Shahida Qazi died on Saturday afternoon.
Her funeral prayer will be offered on Sunday after Zuhr prayer and she will be buried in the Karachi University graveyard.
Pakistan’s first female correspondent and later on, the first female reporter was born in 1944.
