Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited Hafizabad on Monday and distributed Kissan Cards among farmers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing the participants of the distribution ceremony, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) adopted comprehensive measures to provide relief to farmers.
She said that around 15,00,000 farmers visited Kissan Card Portal and 10,00,000 applications were filed. He said that 325,000 Kissan Cards were functional now.
She said that Punjab government purchased latest agriculture instruments worth Rs2 billion. She further said that farmers will be able to purchase seeds, fertilizer and pesticides amounting to Rs1,50,000 by using Kissan Card. During the tenure of Tehreek-e-Intishar, stock market was dropped to lowest level. But during PML (N) era stock market breaking all the previous records and witnessing increase day by day.
She said that PML (N) did not obtain any magic stick but instead adopted practical measures to provide immediate relief to common man. She said that poor people need food not fake slogans to turn their dream in reality and fitna and his aides are heading towards their final conclusion.
