Accomplished Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty has found herself in legal trouble after a swanky BMW Z4 convertible worth Rs80 lakh was stolen from the parking fine-dining restaurant Bastian in Mumbai’s Dadar.
For the uninitiated, one of Mumbai's businessmen, Ruhan Khan, had his BMW stolen from the parking lot of Shilpa Shetty's restaurant. The theft was reported to the Shivaji Park Police Station. The vehicle was missing after he came to valet parking after a night out with friends.
Later, in a CCTV footage, two unidentified individuals were spotted entering the basement for the parking. They used advanced hacking techniques and quickly unlocked the BMW, and one suspect drove the luxury car. This quick method has raised concerns among the authorities.
Soon the news made to the internet, and people were left shocked. However, Shilpa Shetty, the owner of the luxurious fine-dining restaurant, has not yet commented on the matter. However, she and her restaurant is definitely under the radar for the security lapses that led to such a theft. Meanwhile, Police is investigating the matter.
Shilpa Shetty, once in an interview with Zoom, shared how she smoothly transitioned into the hospitality business. She revealed that she found like-minded people like her husband, Raj Kundra, and business partner, Ranjit Bindra, and she didn't had much to do to run the business.
