Robbers rule the roost in Lahore

Robbers had a field day in Punjab provincial capital as 352 incidents of robbery, burglary and theft surfaced in the last 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the details, a thief broke into Syed Ayub Shah’s house in the Shalimar area of Lahore and stole cash worth Rs28 lakh 93 thousand, gold ornaments, prize bond, license pistol and other valuable household items and somehow managed to escape while in the Mughalpura area, the bandits escaped stealing 28 lakh rupees from Omar Hayat at gunpoint.

An identified person stole gold and silver ornaments, watches, foreign currency, prize bonds and other goods worth Rs2150,700 from the household of Nadeem in the Liaquatabad area.

An unknown person broke the cupboard locks of Raza Shah's house in the Kahna area and stole gold ornaments and other valuable household goods worth 10 lakhs and escaped, said the police. In the same locality, an armed bandit entered the house of Saeed Akbar and stole cash, gold ornaments and prize bonds worth 30 lakh 48 thousand from the family at gunpoint according to the police.

Motorcycle-riding muggers escaped after snatching an expensive mobile phone and Rs35000 from Fahad in the Green Town area.

In the Islampura area, robbers fled taking away twenty-eight thousand rupees and a mobile phone from Moeed said the police.

In the Defense C area, a mugger named Waqar escaped after snatching two thousand rupees and a mobile phone at gunpoint.

In Nawankot, Syed Sadaqat became the victim of the theft and gave away his mobile phone and Rs3000 at gunpoint.

The bandits at gunpoint in the Ravi Road area snatched fifty thousand rupees and mobile phones from Rahman and escaped.

In the Shahdara area, robbers snatched Rs5,000 cash and a mobile phone from Nisar, Rs28,000 from Adeel Rafiq and Rs10,000, an ATM card along with a mobile phone from Ihtsham and escaped.

In the area of Raiwand City, the motorcycle-riding bandits, Hyder Ali, took away one hundred and eighty thousand rupees and a mobile phone at gunpoint
