Senator Irfan Siddiqui of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) on Thursday fell from his chair during the meeting of Senate’s Standing Committee on Human Rights, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, as soon as Irfan Siddiqui sat on the chair, it cracked and collapsed on the floor, taking the senator down with it.
Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed who was sitting close to Irfan Siddiqui moved quickly and helped the senate back on his feet.
Committee Chairman Waleed Iqbal got up from his seat and inquired about Senator Irfan Saddiqui. Other members expressed also concern over the broken chair.
Later, another chair was brought in for Irfan Siddiqui while members advised the senator to give sadqa (charity) for escaping unhurt in the incident.
