The cast of the new Pakistani drama serial 'Ghair' including actor Usama Khan, Adeel Hussain, and Madiha Iftikhar appeared as guests on Nida Yasir's show 'Good Morning Pakistan' where Usama Khan revealed the reality behind his engagement rumors with Pakistani actress Zainab Shabbir.
During the game session on the show, there was a question, 'Ap kay mutaliq aik viral khabar konsi this jis sy apka koi lena dena nahi tha', to which Usama laughingly said there is no viral news about him.
The host Nida Yasir then revealed that a scene from his drama with Zainab Shabbir went viral and the public thought that they both got engaged.
Nida said that she asked him to live in her show about the engagement and congratulated Zainab as she was also not aware of the reality but in break, she got to know that it was a viral clip from the drama.
Talking about it, Usama Khan said, “I can tell you from where this news originated. It all started with a show when the anchor unintentionally announced it. My engagement news was announced on Nida’s show, but it wasn’t true. That was the one viral news story about me that was fake. Everyone on the set of Ghair was convinced that I was engaged to Zainab until I denied the rumors. I told them that I had been searching for a girl for myself, and everyone kept saying, ‘Aren’t you engaged?’ and I was like, ‘No! I’m looking for a girl.’
Usama Khan also mentioned that girls interested in him can approach him.
