Accepting the request filed by Sessions Judge Shah Arjumand, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday transferred the illegal marriage case involving former prime minister and ex-PTI chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi to Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Judge Arjumand had written a letter to Chief Justice (CJ) of the IHC Justice Aamer Farooq in which he had requested him to transfer the case since Khawar Maneka, a party to the case, had expressed his distrust in him.

A few days ago, Maneka for the second time had conveyed to the judge he did not trust him, prompting the latter to write to the IHC CJ for the case’s transfer.
