Plane engine damaged after bird hit at Lahore Airport

A Fly Jinnah plane escaped a disaster at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport on Tuesday morning after the aircraft was hit by a bird, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to airline sources, the bird hit the Fly Jinnah plane as it was taking off.

One of the engines of the plane was damaged, the airline sources said, adding flight 9P841 has now been cancelled.

The passengers were moved to the lounge as a technical team of the Civil Aviation department was sent for the inspection of the plane.
