A local court has accepted the pre-arrest bail application of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health minister in a Covid-19 curbs violations case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A few days ago, KP Health Minister Taimoor Salim Jhagra held an Iftar dinner party in a restaurant and invited hundreds of guests in clear violation of corona-specific SOPs. The local administration took notice of the minister’s violation and registered a case against him.

Mr Taimoor Jhagra on Friday appeared before a magistrate court in Peshawar and submitted his pre-arrest bail which was accepted by the magistrate.
