Following the Madina Incident, the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has filed an application to register a case against 150 people including former Prime Minister Imran Khan and former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid.
The 24News HD TV channel reported on Saturday that the application has been filed by the PML-N leader Sheikh Muhammad Naeem in the Madina Town Police Station in Faisalabad.
In the application, the PML-N leader said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers violated the sanctity of Masjid Nabvi by chanting slogans so strict action should be taken against them.
The PML-N applicant also said that billions of Muslims are heartbroken by such actions.
The application mentioned the names of former premier Imran Khan, former federal ministers Fawad Chaudhry, Sheikh Rasheed, Shahbaz Gul, Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Qasim Soori, PTI leaders Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, Sahibzada Jahangir Chiko, Nabeel Musarrat, Ejaz ul Haq, Umair Ilyas, Rana Abdul Sattar, Barrister Amir Ilyas, and Gohar Jilani.
