Following the removal of names of the persons who were members of the federal cabinet during the PTI government from the Exit Control List (ECL), the federal cabinet has now approved the deletion of eight more names, including that of Muhammad Azam Khan, who was a principal secretary to the former prime minister and ex-PTI chairman Imran Khan, from the list, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Sources told 24News that the cabinet approved the deletion of names on the recommendations of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Besides Azam, others, whose names were struck off, were Raja Manzoor Kiani, Arif Rahim, Naveed Akbar, Skindar Hayat, Nisar Muhammad, Ghulam Haider and Arif Nazir Butt.
Their names had been included on the list in connection with 190 million pounds case (Al-Qadir Trust), sources said, adding however the names of Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi would remain on the list.
Similarly, they informed, the names of Farah Gogi and Zulfi Bukhari would also remain on the list.
