A court in Lahore on Monday threw out the post-arrest bail applications filed by two suspects in female TikToker’s molestation case at Greater Iqbal Park (Minar-i-Pakistan) on August 14 when they told the court they wanted to withdraw their applications, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Abdur Rehman, Qasas, Ali Ahmed, Mudassar Hussain and Bu Ali had filed the petitions through their counsels.
Meanwhile, a sessions court in Lahore will take up for hearing the petition, seeking registration of a case against TikToker Ayesha Akram Beg and her friend Rambo today (Monday).
Additional Sessions Judge Ijaz Gondal had earlier directed parties to the case to bring with them complete record on the date of hearing.
Mian Tauseef Ahmed, a citizen, had approached Shahdara police station for registration of the case against the TikToker and her friend.
The citizen, in his application, has stated that the SHO Shahdara police station has not even registered a case against both the persons let alone taking any action against them. “Since both Ayesha and Rambo had come to the Greater Iqbal Park with a plan, therefore the court is requested to order registration of a case against both of them,” reads the petition.
