RISJA distributes latest mobile phones among 25 members

Rawalpindi Islamabad Sports Journalists Association (RISJA) Tuesday held a meeting at the media centre of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) in which the 25 RISJA members got the latest mobile phones from the RISJA office bearers.

President Raja Mohsin Iiaz, Secretary Kashif Abbasi, former presidents Ayaz Akbar and Abbas Shabbir and ex-secretary Arif Mahmood distributed 25 latest Samsung mobile sets to members to help them work with more dedication and professionalism.

During the ceremony, RISJA president Raja Mohsin Ijaz said the association will do its best to help the sports journalists professionally.

He said they will also conduct live sports events for its members like in the past. He said they would also hold cricket matches against all the Pakistan Super League franchises.

He said they will also conduct different workshops to sharpen their skills.

He said they would also collaborate with the Pakistan Sports Board and other sports associations to send RISJA members abroad for the coverage of international sports events.

Secretary RISJA Kashif Abbasi thanked all the senior members who attended the ceremony and promised that they would only work for the welfare of the sports journalist community of the twin cities.

He said that no one would be allowed to misuse the name of the sports journalist or RISJA to gain personal benefits.
