Emirates announces closure of first-class check-in area at Dubai airport

Emirates airline on Thursday announced closure of its first-class check-in area at Dubai International Airport (DXB) for a few months.
When it reopens, passengers will be able to “step through private doors” and check in from the luxurious private lounge, Dubai's flagship carrier said.
In the meantime, the airline said, travellers bound for the US and other destinations may use the check-in desks at Terminal 3.
I further elaborated, “Until June 2025, the first-class check in area at Dubai International Airport will be closed while we create a new and luxurious private lounge area. During the upgrade, please use first-class check in desks 54 60 for flights to the US, and desks 16 20 for all other destinations.”
Emirates First Class passengers will soon enjoy an enhanced check-in experience, entering through a private entrance before their luggage is seamlessly handled by the airline’s staff.
At Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3, Emirates currently operates seven exclusive lounges. Three are dedicated to First Class travelers, another three cater to Business Class passengers, and one is designed for all premium travelers.
Additionally, First Class guests departing from DXB have access to a luxury chauffeur service for seamless airport transfers.
An official statement from Emirates confirms that further details about the upcoming First Class lounge will be unveiled soon, promising an elevated experience for premium travelers.
