The Sindh High Court has dismissed a petition that was seeking abolition of mandatory vaccination saying that a Covid-positive person is like a moving bomb that might infect several other people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The High Court on Friday set aside a petition filed by Suhail Hamid Advocate.
During the hearing of the petition, Justice Shafi Muhammad Siddiqui remarked that a Covid-positive person was a moving bomb who would infect scores of others.

Addressing the petitioner, Justice Siddiqui said: “You are concerned about your health only. It’s a matter of other people’s health as well.” He remarked that it was a dangerous disease as an infected person might transmit the virus of this disease to hundreds of others.
Justice Siddiqui asked the petitioner that how the mandatory vaccination was violating his rights? He further asked the advocate where was the notification of the mandatory vaccination?

The petition prayed that without proper legislation, the government could not carry out mandatory vaccination. It further said that without proper legislation, people were not required to accept the administrative orders. It prayed that air travel restrictions for the unvaccinated were unconstitutional.
The federal and provincial governments, law ministry, health ministry and interior ministry were made party to the case.
The judge not only dismissed the petition, he also imposed a fine of Rs25,000 on the petition.
