The Matriculation Examination being held under the Lahore Board has commenced from today (Friday) amid Covid fears, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In the first group i.e., Science Group, the Lahore Board is taking the Chemistry exam today. While in the second i.e., General group, students are taking the General Science exam.

A total of 300,800 students are appearing in the first Science exam. The board is taking exams under strict Covid specific SOPs.
Board Chairman Dr Mirza Habib said that if any examination centre would be found laxing in the implementation of SOPs, its superintendent would be responsible for that negligence.
He said that Section 144 was imposed around all the examination centres. He further stated that any outsider would not be allowed to enter the examination centres.
