Portrayal of INSENSITIVE content in drama ‘Laapata’ shakes the internet  

Drama serial ‘Laapata’ which stars some of the most celebrated actors of the nation has been bashed by the netizen community for portrayal of highly insensitive content specially during the testing time Pakistan is facing in terms of sexual harassment.

A video clip is doing rounds on social media which stars actress Ayeza Khan and a shopkeeper.

Ayeza Khan plays the character of a TikToker ‘Geeti’ in the serial and during the clip she blackmails a shopkeeper with false harassment allegations.

Why has this clip attracted so much attention? Pakistan is going through an immensely strenuous time especially after the whole nation showed feelings of fear and disgust at a poor girl known as Noor Mukadam being murdered.
