Sindh government Friday withdrew its decision to hand over public hospitals to non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government in Sindh came into action after the failure of the NGOs to run the public hospital in good manners.
The Sindh government of PPP issued a written order to withdraw the failed hospitals from the NGOs with immediate effect.
The director-general of the provincial health department signed the written orders and directed to hand over the arrangements of all the hospitals run by the NGOs to the District Health Officer within a day.
