Punjab Chief Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, accompanied by the Chief Secretary, Inspector General of Police, Commissioner Lahore Division, and CCPO, Saturday conducted a meticulous aerial inspection of Lahore city to assess and fortify the security arrangements for the Ashura Day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. The high-level visit aimed to ensure a peaceful and safe environment during the religious observance.

In a demonstrative display of his commitment to public safety, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi personally reviewed the security measures deployed across different areas of the city. His inspection covered crucial procession routes and the overall preparedness of the police force.

The aerial survey encompassed key locations such as Inner City, Karbala Gamay Shah, Anarkali, Islampura, and Thokar Niaz Baig, among others. During the survey, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed his satisfaction with the security arrangements in place, lauding the efforts made by the Punjab government to maintain law and order on Ashura Day.

Moreover, Mohsin Naqvi issued clear and unequivocal instructions to the authorities for continuous monitoring of the security arrangements to ensure utmost vigilance during the observance. He emphasized the need to implement the meticulously devised security plan formulated jointly by the police and administration.

"We are leaving no stone unturned to thwart any nefarious intentions of adversaries," asserted Mohsin Naqvi, highlighting the alertness of the entire security force to counter any potential threats.
