A girl was allegedly gang-raped by three men and then thrown from the rooftop of a hotel in Gujranwala when she told her tormentors that she would report it to the police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Model Town police made one arrest after the registration of an FIR on the complaint of the girl’s sister, while search for the suspect’s two accomplices was underway till last reports came in.
The condition of the girl named Mah Rukh, who was admitted to a hospital, was reported to be critical.
The police said that the girl had come to Gujranwala from Lahore to meet her boyfriend Muhammad Ali.
As per the FIR, as soon as she reached Gujranwala, Ali took her to a hotel where he administered her some drugs due to which she fell unconscious.
Later he along with two others namely Abdul Qadir and Umar Javed subjected her to a gang-rape, read the FIR.
The FIR further read that the rapists threw her from the hotel’s rooftop when the victim told them that she would report the incident to the police.
