Veteran actor Shakeel alias Uncle Urfi died at the age of 85 in a Karachi hospital on Eid Day, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Thursday.
According to the sources, His actual name was Yousuf Kamal and he was hospitalized with arthritis and heart complications in a hospital for the last four days.
He got famous as a leading figure in dramas of the Pakistan Tele Vision (PTV) with his brilliant performances and outclass acting. He was also acknowledged on the smoke screen and played some important roles in films.
The funeral will take place on Friday.
Veteran artist Shakeel was born on May 29, 1938, and has found a clear path for himself that has earned him great respect and admiration on Pakistani television in the 70s.
It should be noted that his work in the popular PTV series Uncle Urfi (1972) captivated audiences and demonstrated his extraordinary talent.
