PML-N slams PTI for opposing NA resolution against US interference

Hitting out at Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) MNAs for opposing the resolution passed by the National Assembly (NA) in response to the resolution passed by the US’s House of Representatives, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders on Saturday said that there was a political party in the country which changed its narrative with changing circumstances, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, PML-N MNA Barrister Aqeel Malik opined that the ‘ugly face’ of the PTI now lay exposed. “After opposing the resolution, now the PTI MNAs are making an excuse that they were not aware of contents of the resolution,” he said, and accused the party of running a malicious campaign on social media which he called ‘digital terrorism’.
The PML-N leader that everybody should bear this thing in mind that the USA had done nothing to stop atrocities against the Palestinians and the Kashmiris.
Speaking on the occasion, PML-N leader Shaista Pervaiz Malik said that the government did not want deterioration in its relations with any country. “At the same time, however, we can’t tolerate an attack on our country’s independence and sovereignty,” she said emphatically.
Referring to the PTI, Shaista said one of the parties was constantly attacking the country’s dignity and existence. “It is high time we thought about the country by rising above our interests.”
The PML-N leader opined that the true nature of the PTI had now been exposed. “The country is developing, and this party does not want the country to progress,” she said.
