Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday responded to the letter, which Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had written to him a few days ago.
Khan thanked Modi for greeting Pakistanis on Pakistan Day and said the Pakistani government and people wanted to have ties with India and all other neighbours based on peace and cooperation. He said that resolution of all disputes between the two countries, including the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, was a must for a durable peace in South Asia. He said there was a need to create a conducive environment for constructive and result-oriented dialogue between the two countries. He expressed his best wishes for the people of India in their fight against coronavirus.
In a rare and unusual move, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had greeted the Pakistani nation on Pakistan Day (March 23) and expressed his desire for peaceful relations with Pakistan.
