A fire broke out suddenly in a fast food plaza in Jaranwala on Saturday which engulfed the entire building, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to rescue sources all the goods lying in the plaza burnt to ashes.
After hours-long hectic effort, the fire-fighters succeeded in dousing the fire. Rescue officials informed media men that the fire started due to short-circuit.
The owner of the plaza said that the blaze caused him some Rs20 million loss. He appealed the goverment to come to his help.
Meanwhile, a blaze broke out in a mats shop in SITE area of Hyderabad which also destroyed a nearby hut on Saturday morning.
Fire-fighters were busy in extinguishing the blaze, saying they did not know yet what started the fire.
