Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s alleged attacker Muhammad Naveed Bashir was produced in an anti-terrorism court amid tight security in Gujranwala on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. After normal proceedings, the ATC judge adjourned the hearing until April 15.
Imran Khan had sustained a bullet injury in his leg after a gunman opened fire at a rally in Wazirabad on November 3, 2022. Imran, who was leading a protest march demanding snap elections, was taken to a hospital in Lahore for treatment.
After investigation, the police had said that just one shooter was involved and arrested Muhammad Naveed Bashir.
