Russia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday and discussed with him increasing cooperation between the two countries in energy, trade and investment, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The prime minister, on the occasion, expressed his deep grief and shock over the loss of lives of over 100 people, who had gone to Crocus City Hall outside Moscow last week to watch a musical concert, in a terror attack. “Pakistan stands by Russia in this hour of grief,” he said. 

The ambassador conveyed to PM Shehbaz an expression of gratitude by Russian President Vladimir Putin for congratulating him on his win in the recently held presidential election.
