A massive fire that erupted in the Korangi Creek area of Karachi remains uncontrollable even after 32 hours, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to oil and gas experts, the fire may have originated from an underground gas reservoir at a shallow depth. However, the exact cause is yet to be determined.
Fire brigade teams are still battling the blaze, but despite continuous efforts, the flames remain unchecked.
Following the incident, Creek Cantonment has taken control of the affected area to prevent further escalation.
Authorities and experts are closely monitoring the situation while firefighters continue their tireless efforts to extinguish the fire.
