Unidentified motorcycle-riding assailants shot Ali Gul Chandio dead in Mehar before fleeing the scene, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the report, following the brutal murder, the victim’s heirs staged a sit-in on the Indus Highway, setting tyres on fire and blocking traffic on the National Highway.
The protesters demanded immediate action against the culprits and urged authorities to ensure justice.
