Sarfraz Ahmed, 10 others yet to get clearance to fly Abu Dhabi

Former national cricket captain Sarfraz Ahmed from Karachi and all ten people from Lahore could not get clearance to travel to Abu Dhabi for playing the remaining matches of the (PSL) season six, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was given special permission for the departure of 16 players and officials. 

In the latest development, PCB officials have contacted the Abu Dhabi Sports Council for clearance of all persons.

Also, PCB is also pondering alternative options for the early departure of these persons to the UAE.

However, five players including fast bowler Muhammad Husnnain have left from Karachi for Abu Dhabi.

Reports said that two Covid-19 tests have been conducted so far on the cricketers and officials who have already reached Abu Dhabi for the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) VI.
