Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has ordered that Darood Sharif will be recited during assembly time in all schools of the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.
On the directions of Chief Minister Buzdar, the Punjab chief secretary on Tuesday sent a notification to all schools in the province directing the administration that during the assembly time, before the national anthem chorus, there should be the recitation of Holy Quran and after that Darood Sharif (Darood Ibrahimi).
The chief minister said the Darood recitation brings blessings and safety in our lives and when it would be recited in schools, the new generation would become aware of its blessings. He said every Muslim felt honoured when he recited Darood Sharif to express his devotions for the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
