Accused father Fawad who is allegedly involved in yesterday's shocking incident of the murder of his wife and three daughters in the Shamsi Society of Malir area recorded his statement to the Karachi police through a digital message on Wednesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, all four murdered family members (wife and three daughters) were buried in the Azampura graveyard after offering funeral rituals in Shah Faisal Colony on Wednesday.
The channel reported that the injured accused Fawad who is admitted to a local hospital here in Karachi wrote his statement on his mobile phone and forwarded it to the police.
In the recorded statement, the accused told the police that he did not inform the maternal grandmother of the girls about the incident.
The accused also claimed in his statement that he had sent the picture of the crime scene to his investors after the incident.
Karachi police have deputed police outside the ward of accused Fawad at the local hospital and he will be arrested after his health improves.
The Police officials said that they have decided to investigate the accused's investors as well and a statement under Section 164 will be taken to them.
They added that data is also being obtained from the phone of the accused because for the last 6 days, different investors were visiting the accused Fawad's house to get money back.
Police said that the doctors have given a month's time that the accused will be able to give a statement.
On November 29, four family members, a mother, and her three daughters were found dead with their throats slit in a house near Malir Shamsi Society of Karachi.
According to the SSP Korangi that the family head named Fawad allegedly killed his wife and three daughters after intoxicating them.
The police captured him with burn injuries as he had tried to self-immolation after slitting the throat of his family members, SSP claimed.
The three daughters are between 12 to 16 years old.
