Prime Minister’s Special Representative for Interfaith Harmony and Middle East Maulana Tahir Ashrafi has said calling long march jihad is a sin, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Sunday, he said Imran has not been removed by the army or anyone else, Imran Khan has fallen under his own weight.
Taking swipe at Imran Khan, he said,” If India is happy with your words if so, it means clearly that you are strengthening the anti-national agenda.” He said that the PTI chief cannot bring change through goons.
Pakistan Ulema Council Chairman Tahir Ashrafi said that a heinous conspiracy was also hatched to kill Arshad Sharif Shaheed. “All conspiracies designed to divide Pakistan Army and nation would be foiled at all forums,” he added.
Expressing grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Arshad Sharif, he said the culprits of his murder should be brought to justice but nobody should play politics on his dead body.
“If people including PTI chief Imran Khan had any evidence regarding his murder, they should bring it to the notice of the apex court and the public as well,” he asserted.
He lamented that the way propaganda was done against the Pakistan Army, the ISI chief had to come forward and held a press conference for clearing the situation. “Pakistan Army's efforts to eradicate terrorism in the country are valuable and cannot be taken for granted, he hinted.
“Imran Khan should refrain from commenting against friendly countries,” he urged.
