Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has made it unequivocally clear that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with the people of Gaza in their time of struggle, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a massive gathering of supporters during the Gaza March held in Islamabad on Sunday, he emphasized the importance of this gathering as a message to the United States.
"Today, a large number of people is sending a message to America: If the US stands with Israel, we stand with the Muslims of Gaza,” he asserted.
Sirajul Haq touched upon recent events, referencing the US Deputy Secretary of State's call to the Pakistani leadership.
He questioned the intentions of the Pakistani rulers.
"On November 19, the next Million March will be held in Lahore. If Israel's terrorism does not end, we will continue our movement,” he added.
He also acknowledged the sacrifices made by the Palestinian martyrs and expressed, "I feel the fragrance of Gaza martyrs in the atmosphere of Islamabad."
Haq also compared Pakistan's actions to those of the President of Turkey and the Secretary General of the United Nations, both of whom have spoken out against the occupation of Palestine.
He decried the extensive loss of life caused by Israel's siege and bombings, including attacks on hospitals and schools.
He urged unity among Muslim countries and criticized the inaction of rulers who, he felt, were afraid to take a stand.
"Choose between ruling American slavery or Allah."
