Only 29 PIA flights cancelled after matters with PSO settled

Only 29 flights of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) are cancelled today (Monday) as the national flag carrier shows improvement in its domestic flight operation following settlement of matters with Pakistan State Oil (PSO), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The PIA has suffered a huge loss due to the cancellation of its 679 flights during the last 14 days.

Six flights between Islamabad, Gilgit and Skardu are being operated today.

According to the flight schedule, four flights from Karachi to Islamabad including PK368, PK308, PK309 and PK369 and one from Karachi to Dammam PK242 have been cancelled.

Two flights from Karachi to Lahore PK304 and 305, one for Multan PK331, one for Dubai PK214, and two for Sukkur PK536 and PK537 have been cancelled.

Two PIA flights from Islamabad to Sukkur PK631 and PK632, one for Al Qassim PK167, one for Dubai PK233, one for Abu Dhabi PK161, and one for Jeddah PK841 have been cancelled.

Two PIA flights from Peshawar to Dubai PK283 and PK284, two for Sharjah PK257 and PK258, and two for Abu Dhabi PK217 and PK118 have been cancelled.

One PIA flight from Sialkot to Dammam PK243, one for Kuwait City PK240, and one for Sharjah PK210 have been cancelled.

Two PIA flights from Multan to Dubai PK221 and PK222 and one for Al Qassim PK170 have also been cancelled.
