The Rawalpindi police have arrested a Dolphin Force officer named Aamir who was linked to a gang involved in at least 20 robberies, reported 24NewsHD TV reported.
A team from Rawalpindi’s Sahala Police Station also recovered illegal weapons from the accused Dolphin Force officer Aamir.
Police suspended the Dolphin official after the accused initially confessed to being involved in 20 robbery incidents. Aamir’s co-robber Salman has also been arrested by the police.
Police recovered five motorbikes, five mobile phones, two laptops and arms from both the accused.
The Dolphin official and his partner have now been shifted to Adiala Jail for an identification parade.
