Pakistan will be relaunching the Flash Appeal for the flood survivors together with the United Nations on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
According to a statement issued by the foreign office on Friday, aid will be required to cope with the devastation caused by unprecedented rains and floods in the country.
The repeat Flash Appeal is likely to be issued jointly by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari during a ceremony in the USA.
Pakistan desperately needs relief aid to provide food, water, sanitation, emergency education, protection, and health support to around 7 million flood survivors. The additional aid will also help to fight against outbreaks of cholera and malaria and provide food to mothers and their young children.
The foreign office also thanked China for helping Pakistan during the ravaging floods in the country.
Reiterating its old desire, Pakistan once again said that we want India to resolve mutual issues, mutual respect, and relations in the interests of both countries. After the actions of Indian Occupied Kashmir on August 5, 2019, relations further deteriorated between the two nuclear powers. India must take responsible steps over the situation in Occupied Kashmir for better relations with its neighbouring countries, it added.
