The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has offloaded a gang of beggars and human traffickers from a flight at Multan Airport who were travelling to Saudi Arabia on Umrah visa, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to the FIA authorities, these 16 passengers were traveling on Umrah visa with a child.
During the investigation, the passengers revealed that they were going to Saudi Arabia to beg.
The passengers were to be received by Pakistani agents upon arrival in Saudi Arabia.
The passengers included five men, 11 women and a child.
The passengers further disclosed that half of the alms received will be handed over to the sub-agent.
After the expiry of the Umrah visa, the passengers were to return to Pakistan.
The passengers were shifted to FIA Composite Circle Multan for further investigations and legal action.
