Adiala Jail Superintendent Ijaz Asghar Wednesday said PTI leader Shahbaz Gill is fit and healthy, reported 24 News HD TV Channel.
“… he (Gill) is in his cell, not in the prison hospital,” Ijaz said dispelling the impression of deteriorating Shahbaz Gill’s health.
He said that he is in good health and the reports regarding his ill health are completely wrong.
Superintendent further said that the PTI leader is not being transferred anywhere.
It is pertinent that Imran Khan’s chief of staff was arrested on August 9 and is being held in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail on a sedition charge. He made controversial remarks allegedly about the army on a private TV Channel and has been detained since, amid claims of him being subjected to torture and sexual abuse during custody.
