J Salak moves IHC for promoting ‘interfaith harmony’

Former minister for minorities J Salak filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court in the context of the Jardanwala incident on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In the petition, he prayed the court to direct the concerned authorities to make the agreement between Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Christians a part of the syllabus.
He is of the view in his petition that making the agreement a part of the curriculum will create an atmosphere of peace in the society.
The culture of intolerance will also end if the children are taught the contract of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), the petitioner said.
The Secretary Education has been made a party in the petition by the former minister.
Before filing the petition, Salak also got the biometric verification done.
