Two people were killed while two including a woman were seriously injured as a family was slaughtered by unknown attackers with a sharp-edged instrument at their house in Haripur on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police among the four slaughtered persons are a woman Jamila, Sagheer Ahmed, Safir Ahmed and Adeel Ahmed.
Police said the injured Jamila and her son Adeel Ahmad are fighting for life while two people, Safir Ahmed and Sagheer Ahmed have died.
Police Station Makhanyal police reached the spot on receiving the information and shifted the dead bodies to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Khanpur while seriously injured have been referred to Haripur Trauma Center.
The police and circle DSP of Makhnyal police station are collecting the evidence on the spot. Inquiry and investigation about the incident is going on.
