As many as 30,000 male and female candidates took written test as a mammoth exercise to recruit constables in Islamabad police was held on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The recruitment of constables was aimed to fill the vacancies fell vacant during the last five years which were 1,667.
There were foolproof security arrangements for all the stages of the test.
IG Islamabad Akbar Nasir Khan commended police officers for making excellent arrangements for the recruitment exercise. He also thanked the candidates for showing discipline during their test.
CPO Headquarters, CPO Security, CPO Safe City, CPO Training and Law & Order and CPO Operations played key role to arrange the huge exercise.
