The Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Saturday announced its candidates for the upcoming general elections, with its chief Siraj-ul-Haq signing the party tickets, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The party has fielded prominent leaders such as Liaquat Baloch, Amir-ul-Azeem, Mian Muhammad Aslam, Sahabzada Tariqullah, Hafiz Naeemur Rahman, Javed Kasuri, Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali and Khaliq Ahmed Butt from various constituencies across the country.
The party ticket issued to Liaquat Baloch for NA 123, NA 128, JI Secretary General Amir-ul-Azeem for NA-126, Mian Muhammad Aslam for NA 46, Sahabzada Tariqullah for NA 5, Hafiz Naeemur Rahman for NA 250 Karachi, Javed Kasuri for NA 124, Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali for NA 1 Chitral and Khaliq Ahmed Butt for NA 130.
The party hopes to win the support of the voters with its agenda of Islamic reforms, social justice and anti-corruption.
